What ages does this ministry serve?

Shoeboxes are sent to boys and girls in these three age categories: 

• Ages 2 through 4
• Ages 5 through 9
• Ages 10 through 14

 

A few statistics to keep in mind while you shop and build your shoeboxes:

The toddlers and older age groups receive the fewest shoeboxes, and boys receive fewer shoeboxes than girls.

In 2021, this was the percentage of shoeboxes packed and donated for each group:

• Boys, ages 2 - 4 -- 9.64%
• Girls, ages 2 - 4 -- 11.33%
• Boys, ages 5 - 9 -- 21.97%
• Girls, ages 5 - 7 -- 24.89%
• Boys, ages 10 - 14 -- 15.37%
• Girls, ages 10 - 14 -- 16.80%

The data is similar to 2020. Please consider packing a shoebox for a child in a group or gender that receives the fewest shoeboxes.
